These terms apply to your use of calorielookup.com ("the site"). By using the site you accept them. If you don't accept them, please don't use the site.

1. What the site is

CalorieLookup is a free, independent reference that compiles publicly published nutrition information for US restaurant chains and provides a calculator for totalling a meal. It is an information resource only.

2. No professional advice

Nothing on this site is medical, nutritional, or dietary advice, and using the site does not create any professional relationship. Decisions about your diet or health should be made with a qualified professional. The nutrition data disclaimer forms part of these terms and explains the limits of the data in detail — please read it.

3. Accuracy and availability

We compile figures carefully from each brand's own published nutrition information, cite the source on every brand page, and record when it was last verified. Even so, restaurants change recipes, suppliers, portions, and menus, and published figures are themselves averages that vary by location and preparation. We do not warrant that the site is accurate, complete, current, or error-free, and we do not guarantee that it will be available or uninterrupted. Always confirm with the restaurant before relying on a figure.

4. Permitted use

You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

• Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy the site's content or underlying data to build or supply a competing product or database
• Republish substantial portions of the site's compiled content as your own
• Interfere with the site's operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it
• Use the site in any way that breaks applicable law

5. Intellectual property

The site's original text, page design, code, calculator, and the particular selection, arrangement, and presentation of the nutrition data are the property of the site's operator. Underlying nutritional facts are factual information and are not claimed as our property.

Restaurant names, logos, menu item names, and other marks referenced on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. They are used here only to identify and describe the restaurants and menu items the nutrition data relates to — what trademark law calls nominative use.

CalorieLookup is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to any restaurant brand featured on this site. No brand has reviewed, approved, or contributed to this site's content.

7. Third-party links

The site links to restaurants' own nutrition pages and documents so you can verify figures at the source. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices.

8. Advertising

The site may display third-party advertising. Advertisements are selected and served by ad networks, not by us, and their appearance here is not an endorsement of any advertiser, product, or claim. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them. See the privacy policy for how advertising affects your data.

These terms and any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Michigan have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.

If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction whose law guarantees you the protection of your local courts or mandatory local consumer rights, nothing here removes those protections.

13. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, that provision is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining terms stay in full effect.
