Where the Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich came from

Introduced 1961

Truett Cathy had been in the restaurant business for fifteen years when, in 1961, he found a pressure fryer that could cook a chicken breast in about the time it took to cook a hamburger. That was the unlock, and he registered Chick-fil-A, Inc. off the back of it. His original restaurant, the Dwarf Grill, had opened in Hapeville, Georgia in 1946.
